SOCS3基因在人类疾病发生中的作用

摘要: 细胞因子信号通路抑制因子3(SOCS3)是多种细胞因子(如白细胞介素、干扰素、肿瘤坏死因子等)信号通路的负反馈调节因子。SOCS3主要通过酪氨酸激酶信号转导与转录活化因子(JAK-STAT)通路执行其在信号转导过程中的抑制作用。近年研究发现,SOCS3与糖尿病、多囊卵巢综合征、肿瘤、炎症和过敏反应等多种疾病有关。SOCS3或许可以作为某些疾病诊断及评估预后的分子指标,以及作为特定疾病的靶基因。

Abstract: Suppressor of cytokine signaling 3(SOCS3), a negative feedback factor of signaling pathways of many cytokines(such as interleukins, interferons, tumor necrosis factor, etc.), plays its suppressive roles mainly through activating the tyrosine kinase pathway and the JAK-STAT pathway. It was found that SOCS3 was involved in many diseases, such as diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome, cancer, inflammatory, allergic reactions and many other diseases. So SOCS3 could be used as a molecular marker for the diagnosis and assessment of prognosis of those diseases, even as a potential target gene for some specific diseases.
