Abstract: Domestic violence against women has increasingly become an important public health and social problem. Violence against women exists in both developed countries and developing countries. Risk factors of domestic violence include victim factors, perpetrator factors and cultural factors. Domestic violence grievously affects women reproductive health. It makes women more susceptible to a variety of gynecological diseases and reproductive tract infections(RTIs), unwanted pregnancy, miscarriage, pregnancy complications, even so much as death. It is not only a domestic problem, but also a social problem. Its prevention is now a long?-term, comprehensive and systemic project, which requires a multi-angle and multi-sectoral collaboration. In this paper, we reviewed the prevalence of domestic violence against women and influencing factors, and its effect on women reproductive health.
