Abstract: The incidence of diabetes increased year by year in the world. The complications of diabetes extremely affect human health. Effects of diabetes on the reproductive system are drawing more and more attention, including structure of reproductive organ，synthesis and secretion of reproductive hormones，development and function of reproductive cells，sexual function and offspring′s health. The pathological mechanism was related to the disorders in hormonal level, and cellular and molecular regulation. It is important for diabetes patients to prevent, diagnose and treat those diseases related to diabetics by studying the effects of diabetes on the reproductive system.
