Abstract: Preimplantation genetic diagnosis of human embryo was successfully carried out in many countries to detect some chromosome and single gene diseases. Along with the techniques development, the PGD applications were expanded correspondingly and cause plenty ethical controversy. We should limit the PGD applications cautiously and establish a PGD technical and ethical guidline suit for our country after comprehensive consideration.
