Abstract: Induced abortion is a kind of remedial measure after contraceptive failure. However,
induced abortion is hazardous to the women’s physical and mental health, particularly repeat abortion.
Because of ovulation recovery quickly after abortion and women resumption of sexual life early, the incidence of
repeat abortion increased. So the contraception issue after abortion is widely concerned. At present, some
researchers considered that administration the combined oral contraceptive immediately after abortion is a safe
and effective contraceptive measure. There are a great variety of combined oral contraceptive pills, with fewer
side effects, higher safety.
