Applications of Semen Autopreservation in Reproductive Insurance

Abstract: With the development of human assisted reproductive technology(ART), the reproductive insurance is of a focus. Because of problems in oocyte cryopreservation, the reproductive insurance is primarily sperm autopreservation at present. Sperm could be injured during cryopreservation to some extent, and injury mechanisms were various. Sperm motility and vitality were proksim among those different kinds of freezing methods. There are several sources of sperm in semen autopreservation, but the obtaining ejaculate by masturbation is the first choice. Semen autopreservation can be widely used, all of male patients at risk of infertility because of their cancer treatment should be offered this technique. There are some problems in semen autopreservation at present.
