Diagnosis and Treatment of Acute Pancreatitis with Pregnancy

Abstract: Acute pancreatitis with pregnancy is rare in clinical, however, it is a serious symptom for both mothers and fetus because of its atypical clinical symptoms. It is also difficult to diagnose and treat the acute pancreatitis with pregnancy for its dspecial environment nature of pregnancy and high security requirements. In recent years, the diagnostic accuracy and sensitivity of acute pancreatitis with pregnancy, and treatment effect, have been greatly increased by the emerged diagnostic techniques based on endoscopic ultrasonography and cholangiopancreatography, as well as the improved therapeutic methods, such as cholecystectomy and sphincterotomy.
