Aquaporins and Endometriosis

Abstract: Aquaporins(AQPs) are a family of water-transporting membrane proteins, which involved in pathophysiology of angiogenesis, tumor proliferation and so on. Aquaporins changed their expression in abnormal human endometrium. Angiogenesis plays an important role in occurrence and development of endometriosis. We presumed that aquaporins may be have relationship with the occurrence and development of endometriosis.
