褪黑素在卵母细胞发育中的作用及体外成熟培养中的应用

摘要: 褪黑素是一种广谱抗氧化剂,不仅可以通过与特异性受体结合产生一系列的生物学效应,而且可以直接穿过生物细胞膜进入细胞内,清除细胞内活性氧簇,降低氧化应激反应。另有研究证实,褪黑素可通过其抗氧化作用促进卵母细胞发育成熟,提高卵母细胞的发育潜力。近年来,褪黑素抗氧化作用逐渐成为研究的重点。然而在体外成熟培养(in vitro maturation,IVM)的培养基中添加褪黑素促进卵母细胞成熟,提高卵母细胞的发育潜力的机制还不清楚。综述褪黑素在卵母细胞发育中的作用及在卵母细胞IVM中的应用。

Abstract: Melatonin,a broad-spectrum antioxidant, can get through the biological membranes directly and reduce the intracellular oxidative stress induced by reactive oxygen species,which plays an important role in regulating cell biological activities via its special receptors. It was suggested that melatonin improved oocyte maturation and embryo development by its effect of antioxidant. The antioxidant effect of melatonin has recently been focused on. However,it is still not clear whether melatonin improves oocyte maturation and developmental potentiality of oocyte when of added into IVM culture medium. Effects of melatonin in oocyte development and in vitro maturation,as well as its potential application,was discussed in this review.
