摘要:
慢性牙周炎是一种由微生物菌斑引发的、累及牙周组织结构的牙周疾病。近年研究表明,牙周炎与多种全身性疾病包括生殖系统疾病有关。牙周炎可参与女性生殖系统疾病发生发展,如不孕症、多囊卵巢综合征、子宫内膜异位症等;而对于男性患者,牙周炎可能与勃起功能障碍、不育症、前列腺疾病等也相关。因此,牙周炎不仅会对生育力造成负面影响,与此相关的子宫内膜异位症及其恶性病变、前列腺癌等还会给患者带来沉重的生存压力和经济负担。综述牙周炎与人类生殖可能的相关关系,对提升育龄人群的生殖健康具有一定的意义。
