Abstract: Seminal vesicles, as an essential affiliated sexual gland, are important for male reproduction. Seminal vesicles can secrete various substances and factors, such as fructose, ascorbic, agglutinin, prostaglandin, etc. Prostaglandin and many proteins are necessary for seminal coagulum, seminal viscosity, the stability of sperm DNA and antioxidative reactions. Seminal vesicle dysplasia and disorders such as seminal vesiculitis, seminal vesicle cysts, etc., will result in male infertility. The seminal vesiculoscopy has been widely used in those diseases related to seminal vesicle, which provides a new strategy for clinical diagnose and treatment.
