Factors Related to Life Quality of Infertile Women

Abstract: Infertility is a kind of special diseases related to reproductive health, which seriously affects the life quality of patients. The factors that affect the life quality of infertile people are various, including social demographic (age, educational level, economic status, occupation, residence, infertility type, duration of infertility), life habits, personality, physical condition, psychological factors, family factors, social support, and so on. Recent studies have found that the life quality of infertile women was positively correlated with those factors such as the level of education, economic income, occupation status, duration of infertility, living habits, the status of physical and psychological, and social support, and that it was negatively correlated with other factors such as the rural residence, secondary infertility, introverted personality, and poor family relationships. This article reviewed the progress of those factors related to the life quality of infertile women, which is benefit for medical staff to treat their patients in a individual-based model. Those infertile women should be encouraged to have the timely treatment , and to improve their tolerance of treatment. It is true that the individual-based treatment will vastly improve the life quality of infertile women.
