补充肌醇对不育男性精子质量的影响

摘要: 前向运动精子数减少和畸形率增加是导致男性不育的最直接原因。在正常生理条件下,男性生殖系统中会产生一定水平的活性氧簇(reactive oxygen species,ROS),在精子染色质凝聚、获能、运动和细胞防御等方面具有重要的作用。当ROS水平过高时会破坏机体的氧化平衡,形成氧化应激,对精子的运动、形态和DNA的稳定性产生负面影响,降低精子的某些功能和受精潜能。肌醇(inositol)及其衍生物广泛分布于哺乳动物的组织细胞中,并发挥着重要的生物学功能。其参与了男性射精后精子活率、诱导、获能、顶体反应和与卵母细胞膜相互识别等一系列复杂的受精过程,可作为抗氧化剂治疗不育男性患者,体内补充肌醇可以显著改善弱精子症患者的精液质量,精子制备过程中补充肌醇可以显著改善弱精子症患者精液标本的精子活力。本文综述肌醇在不孕男性中的应用。

Abstract: The decreased progressive sperm and the increased sperm malformation are the most direct causes of male infertility. Under the normal physiological condition, the low level of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the male reproductive system plays an important role in sperm chromatin coagulation, energy gain, movement and cell defense. However, the high level of ROS destroys the balance between oxidation and anti-oxidation in the body, forms oxidative stress, and negatively affects the movement, morphology of sperm and stability of the sperm DNA, and reduces certain functions and fertilization potential of the sperm. Inositol (MI) and its derivatives disseminated widely in mammalian tissues and cells play an important biological role. MI is involved in a series of complex fertilization processes, such as sperm survival, induction of activation, fertilization, acrosomal reaction and mutual recognition with oocyte membrane. MI can be used as antioxidants for adjuvant treatment of male infertility. Studies have showed that the in vivo supplement of MI can significantly improve the semen quality of patients with asthenospermia, and that the in vitro supplement of MI can significantly improve the sperm vitality of those patients. In this paper, the application of inositol in infertile men will be discussed.
